So many ways to help the team out in that situation, but all AROD can think is home run, so of course he strikes out. There out to be a statistic: in clutch situations what is your ratio of hits, walks, sacrifices, sac flies, or productive outs to your total at bats under those circumstances. Scary to think what a low average the half-billion dollar man puts up.
Well, at least Kennedy looked like last year for once. I wonder if knowing Joba was coming on board so he doesn't have to carry the youth corps burden alone helped take the pressure off.
